Our Volvo V50 is a sought after estate car which is an absolute bargain in this price range. While this car has cone in excess of 186k miles, it's a Volvo estate - A car which is famed for its quality and longevity - So these is plenty of life left in this old girl!

Our car is powered by a 2 litre, normally aspirated, 4 cylinder, petrol engine, which is smooth and powerful throughout the rev range. Being a petrol model, this car is also ULEZ compliant. On a 500 mile test drive I managed an average of 35mpg which is respectable for a car of this class.

One of the main appeals of this car has to be its sumptuous, full leather interior which looks fantastic and is supremely comfortable. There is plenty of (Real) wood trim which gives the car a quality feel that you do not get in other cars. On a 100 mile drive, I got to really appreciate the Volvos superb seats which are in excellent condition and are shaped perfectly to optimise comfort. This is a truly a car that makes a long journey into a pleasurable experience and being the estate model it is also hugely practical. To the back we have a large, flat and well shaped load area complete with a retractable load over and dog guard. There is also a towbar fitted to this car which further adds to its practicality.

The V50 is based on he same platform as a Ford Focus, so it is not too large and is easy to park and maneuver. This being an estate model though, it comes with a generous sized boot of 417 litres and the ability to fold down the rear seats to extend that luggage space. The dashboard on this model is a very modern design with a balanced and minimalistic feel. This SE model comes with cruise control which, along with the tall 5th gear, makes for relaxed motorway journeys.

I have recently had this car MOT'd and had a new exhaust back box and CV boot in order to pass its MOT with no advisories. The car is finished in metallic blue and the coachwork is in excellent condition. Inside the full leather interior is superbly presented and in keeping with Volvos super reputation, everything in this car works as it should apart from the air conditioning - but heating and ventilation is good. I am sure the buyer of this car will be someone who appreciates a quality vehicle - It certainly is a car that could last a lifetime if looked after properly.
