For sale my Passat 1.9TDi Highline Estate with 130HP. These were the best ones made with the legendary 1.9 PD diesel engine. Powerful and so economical. I have had this car for nearly 10 years and am only its 3rd owner. Superb load lugging, mile munching car. Supremely quiet on the motorway, economical cruising - driven sensibly you can achieve 65MPG, but more normally around 50 to 55MPG. Put your foot down and it pulls really well. Great for towing - it is fitted with a towbar and 7 pin electrics.

Its covered some 227000 miles which really is nothing for these cars. It has been regularly serviced (oil and filter every 6000 miles in my ownership). Cambelt and pump last changed at 223000 miles. Clutch and dual mass flywheel at 160,000 miles.

Everything works as it should - central locking, electric windows, radio/6 changer CD player, heated seats etc. the only exception is the Air con. Had it regassed 2 years ago but is has stopped working again, not bothered to get it done again, so assume there is a small leak somewhere. Also 2nd gear is sometimes difficult to engage, but it has been like that for a while. Four matching tyres with good amount of tread and full sized original spare.

Bodywork has plenty of chips and scratches and a small scrape on the drivers side rear wheel arch, but it is an old car. Both front seats have worn where they always do, I have stuck a patch over the worn areas.

Has 10 months MoT, clean MoT History, no advisories on last MoT, 2 keys, handbook etc.

Sad to see it go but I no longer need it.
