Genuine Mk1 Gti Lhasa green golf for sale with a really nice interior and refurbished engine.

Rare non sunroof 3dr model!

Car drives but needs brakes looking at.

Huuuuuge folder of mots and Vw service dating back to the first ones in the 80

Running Mk2 Golf engine with upgraded Weber carb (also comes with the mk1 engine I removed, it’s seized & needs rebuilt). Needs welding on passanger sill which I will do before the end of the month but the price will go up the more I fix on the car.

Comes with spare parts, like extra wings, door, wheels etc.

Testing the water to see if there’s any interest as she sits before I put more time into getting her motd even tho she is tax and mot exempt you will know she is safe for the road. With mot I will re-advertise for £8k as a car you can drive home in.

Work left to do for mot:
1. I’m Upgrading brake lines to Kunifer this week.
2. Planning to finish the welding next week so the car is solid.
3. Need to carefully refit interior (was removed when the front window frame was rebuilt in the usual corner where they all need welded sooner or later, so there’s no nasty surprises if you ever remove the windscreen).
4. Need to refit fuel tank.
5. Replace headlight and check all the lights and and electrics work.

Once this list is complete i will make a video of the car driving around however I am also trying to finish 10 other projects at the moment so my time is spread out among them.
