An excellent, reliable car with plenty of life left in it. This Golf has had just one previous owner, who maintained it extremely well. I have a large folder of paperwork and receipts covering servicing and maintenance throughout its life. The car is solid, drives very well, and has no mechanical issues. The 2.0 TDI engine and gearbox are both spot on. It’s very economical and cheap to tax, as you’d expect from the BlueMotion model.A real highlight is the self-parking feature — with the push of a button, the car parks itself. This is a rare factory-ordered optional extra. It also comes with sat nav, front and rear parking sensors, and other great features. I purchased this as a temporary car while my Range Rover was off the road, and I’ve been genuinely impressed. I would happily keep it, but owning two cars isn’t practical due to limited parking. Mileage is 157,000, but please don’t let this put you off — the car has been very well cared for, and the extensive service history reflects that.There are some age-related marks and slight lacquer peel on the rear bumper, but overall the car is in good condition for its age.
