2007 Volkswagen Golf Mk5 1.9 TDI diesel with 214,000 miles.

Great wee car that has been extremely reliable and well maintained throughout my ownership. Running perfectly and has just passed its MOT at the end of August 2026.

Maintenance and work carried out:

* Serviced twice yearly
* New flywheel
* New alternator
* New ignition barrel
* New fuel pump
* Timing belt changed at 120,000 miles
* Two spare keys

Condition:

Mechanically, the car has been running really well and has been a great reliable runaround.

As you’d expect for its age and mileage, there are some scratches and general marks on the bodywork.

There is some rust around the sills, one of which has previously been welded, and some rust around the wheel arches.

The boot doesn’t open from the outside but can still be opened from inside the car.

I’ve tried to be upfront about the condition. It’s been a great wee car, regularly serviced and maintained, with an MOT until August 2027.

Ideal for someone looking for a cheap, economical diesel runaround.
