Description

Going to be as honest as I can be. Selling as seen with a slight problem as I don't want any complaints, but the car RUNS AND DRIVES.

On cold starts at least, it sounds like it has chain rattle, however it goes away once the engine warms up. It’s more noticeable during cold weather.

I've been to two independent garages and they both told me it's normal for this 1.6 FSI engine to sound like that and I've been driving it like that for 3 years and had no issues with the chain so I don't know if it's that. It could maybe be the cam follower or the high pressure fuel pump, but I'm not a mechanic so I don't know.

It also has some rough spots. See pictures.

Roof liner has come off

Everything works:

- Electric windows and heated mirrors
- Air con is working
- Auto dimming rear view mirror, auto headlights and wipers
- Cruise Control

- Good tyres
- Very recent service
- Recent new battery
- Just changed front left wheel bearing

157k miles, will rise very slightly as it's being used
