2006 Volkswagen Golf GTI – £2,000 ONO – Enthusiast Car

Reluctant sale of my 2006 VW Golf GTI. This has been a brilliant car and genuinely hard to let go of. I’ve recently upgraded, so it’s time for someone else to enjoy it.

This is a very desirable Mk5 GTI and would be perfect for a VW enthusiast. The engine cannot be faulted — it has started first time, every time, pulls well, and drives exactly as a GTI should. Overall the car is clean inside and out, especially considering its age, with only expected age-related marks.

• Headliner is sagging (possibly due to a small leak)
• Alloys are curbed
• ABS light occasionally comes on — traced to rear nearside ABS sensor
(I have the replacement part)
• General age-related wear and tear as expected for a 2006 car

None of this changes how well the car drives, and it’s priced accordingly.
