Description
Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk4 1.8T which has covered 176,000 miles and has been a fantastic stop-gap car whilst my Mk7 was having a new engine fitted as the old one went bang…
The car runs and drives beautifully and is mechanically sound. It has partial service history and has always proven to be reliable during my ownership. I am only the second owner. It comes with 3 keys and paperwork for days!
As expected for a 25-year-old car, the bodywork does have age-related marks and would benefit from some TLC, so it would make an ideal project for someone looking to restore or improve a classic hot hatch. There is a slight rattle that happens during start up - I believe it is a hanger for the exhaust mount (one will come with the sale).
CAT N which I had no idea when I bought the car but a check since then shows it.
The car is currently without an MOT. I simply don't have the time or money to put it through one as it was only ever intended to be a temporary car for me.
