This car, mechanically has been very much looked after, with regular services ( service book stamped ) 75-80% service history and receipts mainly by Halfords, there isn't a single unwanted noise coming from this car. Solid over bumps,/pot holes, not so much as a squeak.

MOT history has been very good, and for the times it has failed, there's been no hesitation upon getting the issues repaired and instantly passed. The last MOT failed on fractured rear springs, not from abusing the car, but from being the original springs from when the car was new just 16 years ago, they was replaced back in May after the failed MOT and with only a few thousand miles of driving afterwards. so pop your head under the rear and see for your self, they're still shiny and black with out a spot of rust. Further more there was a failure due to ball dust cover was gone, again , just like the springs, both of the old was ripped off, an replaced with new, non budget ball joints, the only things i never got instantly done at the time was the advisories on 2 tires having slight damage, however they was changed 2 weeks down the line.

Please remember this is a 16 year old car so its no polished diamond, it has some aged related marks, and due to some thieving little B*STARD!!, the cover on the drivers side wing mirror is now black, and the little shroud that clips around the drivers door lock is missing ( please refer to photo to see ) my guess is that some one was missing there's and decided to steal mine. In my opinion though it is a minor issue, that minor i dint make to much of a haste to find the exact color match. Then following is the alloys, they are in need of some TLC, scuffs and scratches etc, but a can of spray and some wire wool, they will be tidy again.

lets move to the interior, it's spotless, not a mark, not a rip, not a tare, nothing!! its very surprising to be fair just how good condition the interior really is for the age of the car. The seats are nice and comfortable too, and being half fabric/half suede they just give that little crisper feel,

Why am i selling?? Because i was a complete and utter moron that's had his licence for a little over 2 months and thought id be able to maintain the insurance on a 2 liter GT 140 BHP. ( I should have listened to the wife )

The car is currently on 133k miles, but with the right maintenance, those numbers are chump numbers for one of these golfs, At 115 k it had water pump and drive belt replaced, 119 K, 4 new injectors as well as injector rail replaced.
