VW Golf GTI MK6 DSG - New VW Gearbox & Turbo (30k miles ago) - Stage 1

The High Points:
I’ve owned this GTI for 5 years and it has never let me down. While the shell is on 102k miles, the most expensive parts are much "younger." In 2018 (at 72k miles), it had a brand new DSG gearbox and Turbo fitted by VW. These have only covered 30k miles since.
Only done 6000 on average a year . I’ve had it 5 years and only done 18k miles in it
I have a massive folder of paperwork, including service history from Awesome GTI. This car has been maintained regardless of cost.
Recent Maintenance (Early 2026):
• New Water Pump (March)
• New Timing Chain Cover Gasket (March)
• Full Service (Oil & Filter - March)
• New PCV Diaphragm & Hoses (March)
• New Injector Seals (Feb)
• MOT until January 2027
Modifications:
• Stage 1 Remap (with printout)
• Bola B1 Alloys & good tyres
• Lowered 30mm on H&R Springs (perfect stance, still daily-drivable)
• Ramair Induction Kit
• Center Resonator Delete (sounds great without being obnoxious)
• Spoiler Extension
• Apple CarPlay Unit
• Full Leather Interior


The "Bad Bits"):
I want to be 100% honest so no one’s time is wasted.
• Sunroof: Had a persistent leak, so I have siliconed it shut with CT1. The motor still works, but it is currently sealed.
• Paintwork: There is paint peel on the roof (from tape used during the sunroof leak) and on the rear bumper. Some typical Golf rust around the boot badge.
General wear and tear scuffs but nothing major
• Exhaust: One tip was cut to fit new ones that didn't end up fitting; needs a new tip welded on to be perfect.
Price: £4800 ONO
Private plate not included. I’ve loved this car, but it’s time for something new. Open to sensible offers or potential swaps.
