Description
2010 VW Tiguan SE 2.0 TDI 170PS 4MOTION AWD – 84,500 miles – Manual
Selling my Tiguan as I’ve got another car now and just don’t need two.
It’s the 170PS 2.0 TDI 4MOTION model with the 6-speed manual gearbox, so it’s got plenty of power, drives really nicely and is great on the motorway. I’ve been getting around 46–47mpg on longer runs and around 34–35mpg around town.
The cars done only 84,500 miles and the logbook is 3 owners, which is pretty low for the age.
I had a good amount of maintenance done roughly 2 months ago, including:
• Fresh engine oil
• MANN oil filter
• MANN air filter
• MANN fuel filter
• Brembo brake discs and pads
• Brembo discs & pads fitted, with brake components cleaned and treated during the work
• 4 good part-worn tyres fitted recently
• MOT until 28 June 2027
The MOT had a minor oil leak advisory which was checked afterwards and turned out to just be a loose bolt/fastener. That’s now been sorted and I’ve got the receipt for the work.
Spec includes:
• Heated leather front seats
• Fully electric driver’s seat
• Touchscreen display
• Electronic handbrake
• Auto Hold
• Front & rear parking sensors with visual display
• 4MOTION AWD
• 170PS diesel engine
• 6-speed manual
I’ve used it as my daily commuter and also recently drove it up to Scotland and back with no issues at all. Really comfortable car and nippy for an SUV.
Just being completely upfront, the car is previously recorded as CAT N. I bought it from auction following previous front bumper/bonnet damage. The Cat N status is reflected in the asking price. It’s been a reliable car for me and I’ve maintained it properly since owning it.
A few small things to mention so nobody wastes a journey:
• Small dent on the bonnet
• Slight front bumper/headlight alignment issue as a couple of headlight mounting tabs were damaged from the previous impact
• Small 2-3cm paint scratch near the rear passenger-side wheel arch
• Boot parcel/luggage cover is missing
• No previous service history came with the car when I bought it, but I have receipts for the work I’ve had done during my ownership
Overall it’s a really nice Tiguan inside and out, drives well and has had proper money spent on maintenance rather than just being cleaned up to sell.
