2009 VW Polo BlueMotion 1.4 Diesel - 137k – ENGINE RUNS WELL – SPARES/REPAIR

5-door VW Polo BlueMotion 1.4 diesel, 137,327 miles.

Engine runs well and the car is complete. Nice alloy wheels. Bodywork is showing its age with various scratches and chips/nicks, but no major dents or deformities.

Recently failed MOT. Main faults are exhaust, front suspension/ball joint, rear wheel bearing and rear tyre, plus some minor electrical items. MOT failure sheet available.

The car has also recently been recalled by Volkswagen due to a potential airbag fault. VW have confirmed they will carry out the recall repair free of charge, but this has not yet been done.

The stereo is temperamental and doesn’t always work correctly. There are also some cracks/damage to parts of the interior, consistent with the age of the vehicle.

I’ve decided not to repair it as the estimated repair cost was quoted at around £1,200.

Would make a good donor/parts car for someone with a Polo, or a project for someone able to do the repairs themselves.

Sold as spares/repair and not roadworthy. Buyer to arrange collection/recovery.
