Hey there! We’re Close to the Sun, a London-based psych-rock band blending cinematic vibes with dark grooves and vintage energy.
We’re now looking for an energetic, friendly, committed, creative vocalist who’s into building atmosphere as much as power to establish a long-term cooperation and having fun with us.
Our main influences come from the early Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, The Cure, Radiohead.
We’re currently working on our second album — our latest single “The Song of Nothing” is already spinning on several UK radios (including Deal Radio Kent) and receiving great reviews, being added on Spotify playlists.
We are very easy-going/yet committed people. This is a great opportunity for people who want to leave a mark doing what they like the most.
• Rehearsals: twice a month in London (normally Tuesdays)
• Goal: live shows, festivals and finishing the album
• We value vibe and chemistry over perfection — if you’re passionate and you want to build up something remarkable, let’s jam!
