Here’s my listing for my 2010 Vauxhall Corsa SXI.
I’ve had it now for four years this year.
Initially, because of previously being in the motor trade in accident repair, I rescued this one from salvage in October 2022.
It has been recorded as a Cat N. I have all the documentation and photos of this.
I also have partial MOT & Service history.
The main factor of me picking it up, was the low 47k miles.
The first MOT was quite expensive, was done at a Vauxhall main dealer here in Bristol, and thereafter have been done at garages with mechanics that I’ve known well over 25 years.
I’ve got all the paperwork to show all of the work that I’ve had done since I’ve owned it.
Some people get scared off with the Cat features, but I can assure you the minimal damage that it was, near side accident to bumper, near side front wing, and a slight crease in the bonnet.
It’s now on £61k miles and going up daily, had MOT in November with a few advisories.
I did a basic winter service myself last month, spark plugs, air filter, oil filter, pollen filter.
The spanner light is also lit, the reason for this is I had the fan changed and it is running on full even from startup, and I have added the code picture to explain this.
It hasn’t bothered me, and doesn’t affect driving, just takes a bit longer to warm the inside of the car.
Also bear in mind it’s now 16 years old, so obviously it’s showing some cosmetic nicks here and there.
But whites and silvers hide quite a lot, never been a fan of darker colours and being a former painter by trade, I know why.
I’ve been as honest as I can. The main reason for this sale is I am in the market for a MPV for camping/ festival features.
Otherwise I would be keeping it, as it’s never let me down during the time of owning it. Yes I’ve had to maintain with parts etc, but that’s with pretty much most cars. Plus it’s been cheap to run and tax is reasonable aswell.
