Up for sale is my 2006 Vauxhall Astra SXI H/Mk5 Sport Hatch Twinport 1.6 16V finished in Star Silver. The car has a new long MOT until 21st October 2026. MOT advisories for tyres and exhaust now rectified. The timing belt and water pump has been done twice prior to 39K miles with receipts. Service history and receipts are present and included. Recent service items include rear brake discs and pads with a new offside rear brake calliper. Prior to me purchasing car in 2019 it had been used sparingly and had covered only 39K miles, it has been used by me as a spare/reserve car, hence the current low mileage of just 55K miles. The car has the 16 inch snowflake alloy wheels and there is a full size spare snowflake alloy with tyre included with the sale. Brand new tyres all around as of 06/01/26. Has had an oil and oil filter change as of 18/03/26. New full exhaust system (front flexi & pipe/centre silencer & pipe/back box rear silencer & chrome tip) as of 31/03/26. Tidy interior. Bodywork is tidy and straight with just a small paint blemish on the bonnet. As you would expect with the low mileage the car drives nice and tight. The car offers a mix of reliability, performance and economy. If you have noted the milage is increasing slightly, I have been using the car in the current increased fuel price situation as this car is far more economical than my other cars and preventing the car from being parked up for too long.
