Beautiful Vintage Porthleven Studio Pottery Vase by Fenella Fern (15cm)

An exceptional, hand-thrown stoneware studio pottery vase from the historic Porthleven Pottery workshop in Cornwall, England. This large piece is an excellent example of mid-to-late 20th-century Cornish art ceramics.

Design & Aesthetics:
Features a striking, highly collectible abstract design. The piece showcases a dramatic brown trim that flows down into two distinct swoops, fading into a beautiful orange ombre effect over the exposed, unglazed natural stoneware clay body. This distinctive look is a classic result of the studio's celebrated soda-firing technique.

Markings:
Clearly hand-incised on the base with the personal studio mark ‘f’ for potter Fenella Fern.

Condition:
In very good vintage condition. There are no cracks, chips, or restorations. The structural integrity is completely intact.
