2007 Renault Trafic – 86,000 Miles – Timing Chain Done

Selling my 2007 Renault Trafic with 86,000 miles.

The van runs and drives exactly as it should and has recently had a good amount of maintenance carried out.

Recent Maintenance • Full engine service

• Brake service
• New fuel injector fitted approximately two weeks ago at a cost of around £400
• Timing chain replaced at approximately 71,000 miles, meaning it has only covered around 15,000 miles since.

Van Details • 86,000 miles

• Two keys included
• One remote key is fully functional
• Second key works manually, but the remote locking no longer functions
• Test drives welcome for genuine buyers.

Condition.

The van is in good condition for its age and, in my opinion, presents very well compared with many similar vans of this age.

As you would expect from a working van, there are some age-related marks, scratches and the odd stone chip.

There is a larger scratch down the passenger side which is shown clearly in the photos.

There are also some smaller scratches and marks around areas such as the door shuts/door jambs.

Most of the smaller marks aren't particularly noticeable unless you're specifically looking for them, and some may improve with polishing or T-Cut, although I can't guarantee this.

The photos have been taken to give a fair representation of the van and its overall condition.

The van has not been involved in any accidents while I have owned it.

Known Issues

I want to be completely transparent about the few things I'm aware of:

• Air conditioning: The air conditioning currently needs regassing.

• Alarm: The van locks correctly and the alarm engages, but occasionally the alarm can go off unexpectedly. I've been told this could be related to the alarm's separate backup battery needing replacement, although I haven't had this professionally diagnosed. This was the advise from a few mobile mechanics that I called.

• Second key: Two keys are included, but only one currently works electronically. The second still operates manually.

• Bodywork: Larger passenger-side scratch plus the smaller age-related marks mentioned above, all reflected in the photos.

Overall, it's a good, honest van for its age with relatively low mileage at 86,000 miles, and it has had some important maintenance carried out recently.
