Renault Kangoo Van - 13 months MOT - scruffy, low mileage suitable for builder/parcel delivery

Two advisories (monitor and repair if necessary) for shock absorbers, slight external damage to the casing Nearside Rear and Offside Rear.

I'm asking for £900 because of the low mileage but make what you think is a sensible offer.

I've had it since 2021. It's been brilliant. It runs really well and apart from general wear and tear, MOT advisories, etc., it's been really reliable, doing occasional runs from Essex to North Yorkshire or Scunthorpe with no problems. It's also a great about town driver, really agile and, being a French delivery van (designed for all those tiny French backstreets), it turns on a sixpence. I don't use it for work (I had a desk job but now I'm carer for my wife), I just wanted something cheap. I'd just moved house when I bought it so it was handy for DIY projects.

Its a small van but it's about six foot corner to corner in the back. The passenger seat folds down and the cage behind the passenger seat folds forward so you can get longer materials in. I've fitted a 2.4m piece of timber in the back and I once moved a 1m wide Welsh dresser with the front seat folded down.

I was told by the previous owner that it's been a write off in the past but I don't have any details. I think he said it had been a CAT D but I don't have that written down and it's not listed on the log book. Apparently you can get a report for £20 but that's down to you. What I can say is that it looks like it's been in a double end shunt as the bonnet has been hammered into shape and the trim on the rear doors are held on with wood screws. Apparently one of the front wheel arch plastic shields is missing a screw as it won't fit on something underneath. The garage looked at it and said it was fine. It's never been an issue with the MOT at two separate garages. It's scruffy as hell but it's just cosmetic.

I've got the radio code but it's also scrawled on the inside of the sun visor.

It's got a full tank of diesel. I think the engine, with the low mileage, should mean it's got plenty of value and it's got bags of mileage left in it if you want to keep it going. The seats are bit knackered but I've got cushions you can have that we used to use. We're getting rid of it because my wife has a Seat Leon with 20,000 on the clock and she doesn't drive much so it makes sense to keep her car.

MOT until 17 October.
83760 miles. (In the last three years I've been doing two or three thousand miles a year. I only use it as a runabout to B&Q and to go camping once or twice a year.) I bought it at 74,276 miles.

I've also replaced the battery but for some reason I can't find the receipt. It would have been about four years ago when I didn't drive it for a year for medical reasons. I know I had a new indicator stalk fitted but that's not on the list so there are probably some missing receipts that account for that and the battery. It's unlikely I'll find those receipts now but you can see the RAC battery in the photos. I've not listed all the oil changes but I'll give you all the garage receipts.

The key was sticky a few weeks ago but I applied some proper lock lubricant and it's been okay the few times I started it since.

While it's SORNed I'm starting it for twenty minutes every couple of weeks and reversing it 20 feet on my drive to stop the brakes binding. I'm keeping my octopus phone holder, I just haven't got around to taking it out.

The MOT runs out in mid October but I've photographed the last MOT and the receipts for all the advisories done at the time so you should be able to see that I was intending to keep it at the time.
