Description
NON RUNNER..!! I have owned this van for 3.5 years and it’s never let me down. However about a month ago when I would start it, it was shudder as if misfiring. If I immediately turned it off and on again it would be absolutely fine and would drive on for the rest of the day. About a week ago it started to misfire for the first 5/6 attempts to start it and then even if I drove it for an hour and stopped it would then take 5/6 attempts to start again. This obviously was a heavy drain on the battery and 3 days ago the message “Engine Failure Hazard” came up and it won’t let me start it despite charging the battery.
I had already decided to get a new van so don’t want to spend any money trying to get this one fixed. It may be a cheap easy fix but I’m no mechanic so I’m selling it as a non runner. The MOT is due in about 6 weeks. It will have to be taken on a trailer or towed.
I will SORN it tomorrow as it’s currently parked on my drive in Frome Somerset
