LDV, 400 CONVOY D SWB, Minibus, 2004, 2400 (cc)

Description

Selling my LDV Convoy 400 SWB ex minibus on a 2004 plate.
It's passed its MoT the last 4 years running with no problems and minority advisories.
It's pretty solid underneath and doesn't appear to suffer rust issues like a lot of the Convoys do.


It's pretty basic inside but has built in cupboards, a fridge ( it's wired for leisure use )and has sockets and lights on the inside along with a wooden laminate floor and a rather unique roof that was designed by a guy at Aston Martin back in the day. Headroom is amazing too and you can stand upright even if your 7 feet tall.

Wide enough for a double mattress /bed.
Mains hookup.
Van is running fine and has just over 100,000 miles on it's Ford Duratorq 2.4 Diesel Turbo engine.
It's got a new Bosch battery, new Alternator, new turbo and new front cylinders and drive belt.
6 almost brand new tyres and 2 perfect spares on good rims.
It has a double axle with 4 rear wheels ( 2 each side ).

Drives extremely well and it's a good ride.

It was recently serviced and engine oil, gearbox oil and rear differential oil were all changed. I do it all myself by the way as an old enthusiastic mechanic.

It's done out in Army colours as it was to be used as a fundraising bus during to raise money for Army Charities.
Hand painted in authentic NATO green to a good standard.

Has a professionally fitted towbar and has very few electrics in the cabin so very little to go wrong.

Storage bars on roof to strap stuff down to. You can keep surfboards up there etc.

It gets a lot of attention wherever I go in it and I'd keep it that way.



Mot expires on 14th May 2027.

Costs about £400 a year insure it and I find it's quite economical to run.

I've had some good trips in it but want to go to Europe next year but it won't meet some countries emission standards which is why I'm thinking of selling it but I'm in no rush.

Looking for £3000 but I'm open to reasonable offers.
