It’s never been a builders van so the back is tidy and so is the bodywork for the age
Would make a good base for a camper/dayvan

Not long after buying it I had the top end rebuilt, 2 new valves and all valves seals replaced and lapped, new victor reins head gasket and bolt set, new timing chain kit, new injectors and seals, new rocker cover, new aux belt, the garage before said they put a new Ford turbo on( no receipt but looks new)

NOT SO GOOD BITS, last year in my wisdom I thought I would do an injector learn cycle via Fordscan as I had done all the engine work and replaced injectors and wanted better mpg, ever since its smokes on startup when cold and generally doesn’t run right until warm , it’s been fine in the summer when the outside temp is warm so don’t know what’s happened, but didn’t want to risk doing it again and making it worse,

-No previous paperwork as the dealer lost it (I have some receipts and pictures of the rebuild)
-Chip in windscreen
-Aircon needs gassing as I never had it topped up after the engine was out
-The bodywork imo is not bad for the age but has scratches marks dinks ect and some previous paint as you would expect for the age

- seat bases are tatty and need a scrub
-has a slight oil leek

I brought the van as I was building a garage and wanted something handy to go to merchants in and the tip ect
I did plan on keeping this and putting an exclusive customs body kit on it and using it as my second vehicle but the wife decided she didn’t want a bigger main vehicle to tow our caravan so I have brought a rangerover, this is now surplus to requirements.

Even with the above issues I still drive it when needed l and it’s never let me down I just let it warm up for a 5mins before setting of , i put the towbar on it to take our caravan away which it did with no issues at all, I still hadn’t found a suitable rangy buy the time our booked holiday came around.
