VINTAGE Optoma EzPro 710 Projector– Good Working Order

Good quality vintage projector.
The connection to the power supply is a bit awkward, but it works. Excellent optics.


you can watch movies on the Optoma EzPro 710, but you will need specific cables, and the picture quality will reflect its age.

Connections: The projector lacks modern HDMI ports. To watch movies from an older DVD player or console, you can plug directly into the yellow "Video" RCA port or the S-Video port on the back. The SCART-to-RCA adapters available have are ideal for connecting older UK media players.

Modern Devices: If you want to connect a modern laptop, Blu-ray player, or a streaming device like a Fire TV Stick, you will need to buy an active HDMI-to-VGA or HDMI-to-RCA converter.

Picture Quality: This projector was designed primarily for early 2000s office presentations. It outputs a squarer 4:3 aspect ratio (like older CRT televisions) and a much lower resolution than modern HD displays. Widescreen movies will play with heavy black bars at the top and bottom of the screen.

Sound: While it has an "Audio In" port and a basic built-in speaker, you will get much better results by routing your movie's audio directly to a separate set of speakers or a soundbar.
Overall, it's a nice legacy piece of optics equipment
