Thank you for looking at my Tiger 885.
Has new mot until May 2026 new plugs and k and n air filter cleaned. This is a very well looked after bike, previous two owners were brothers and both engineers. Wheels have been re built on Akront aluminium rims as original Triumph ones corrode from inside the tyre, an expensive job if you have to do this. Tyres are good chain and sprockets are good. The general condition is as good as it looks in photos, seat excellent, paint on tank not bubbling only some paint lifting on front mudguard. (See photo)
This bike makes amazing sense compared to a modern adventure bike costing thousands. It will eat miles in comfort and with a nice size Givvi top box is ideal for trips to the coast or the bigger adventures. As an early year model with carburettors and no fancy electronics to go wrong it will give years of service and probably go up in value, when their true value is appreciated.
Has had five previous owners in 32 years.
The log book/v5 shows the bike as being salvaged due to repairs being higher than value of vehicle. According to previous owner the bike was subject to an attempted theft but quickly recovered. During this the steering lock was damaged and ignition switch. The switch has been replaced hence two keys. And the owner was only too pleased to get his pride and joy back.

If you have seen a few of these bikes you will appreciate the condition of this one when seen in person.

I am in no hurry to sell as I am confident the prices for good early ones will be going up fairly soon.
