Job Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail–oriented Yard/Quality Operative to join a busy automotive operation based in Rochester. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring vehicles meet quality standards before progressing through the operational process.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out quality control inspections on vehicles in line with company standardsIdentify and report any defects, damages, or inconsistenciesComplete inspection checklists accurately and efficientlyEnsure all vehicles are processed within required timeframesWork closely with operational and yard teams to maintain workflowMaintain a clean and safe working environmentAdhere to all health and safety regulations at all times

Skills and Experience Required

Strong attention to detailAbility to work in a fast–paced environmentGood communication skillsBasic knowledge of vehicles (preferred but not essential)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamReliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
