Warehouse OperativeLeeds (LS7) GBP28,000 starting salary Full-time, Permanent Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm Are you looking for a stable, hands-on role where you can take on responsibility, and grow with a successful business? Based just outside Leeds City Centre, you'll be joining a long-established and growing electrical wholesaler where there's real opportunity to develop and take on supervisory responsibilities in the future. This role will involve you moving stock between buildings and on different levels, so you'll need to enjoy being active and working in a fast-paced environment. What the role involves: Unloading deliveries, checking them against paperwork and reporting shortagesMoving stock between buildings and organising storage areasCarrying out manual stock checks and updating recordsPicking and packing orders and preparing goods for courier collectionUpdating order records using a basic IT systemFollowing clear processes and keeping to health & safety proceduresWorking across both indoor and outdoor areas What you'll need to bring: A good work ethic and a desire for a stable, long-term roleConfidence with physical tasks and manual handlingExcellent verbal communication skills and willing to take on responsibilityClear handwriting and can work with care and attention to detailA good standard of general education and basic IT skillsGood numeracy and literacy essentialPrevious experience in a similar warehouse / stock control position would be idealFLT licence is a bonus, not a must What's in it for you?
