Location: Fordingbridge

Salary: GBP28,784.50 pa

Hours: 12–month maternity cover contract: 8.00am–16.30pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch;

Permanent full–time position: 10.00am 18.30pm with 1 hour for lunch

First role is a 12–month maternity cover contract and the second role is a full–time permanent position with the hours stated as above.

TO BE A CONSIDERATION FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DRIVE AND HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORT OR LIVE WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE.

Requirements of the Warehouse Operative:

Be able to work the hours stated. Be physically fit a lot of manual handling, standing for a long period of time and walking involved. Have excellent timekeeping and be reliable. Be computer literate. Be able to multitask. Be numerate. Have excellent communication skills. Have excellent attention to detail. Be flexible to suit the business needs. Be a strong team player. Be highly organised with the ability to meet deadlines when under pressure. Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative:

Picking of stock with a high level of accuracy Inspection of customer orders to ensure Right first time . Packing of customer orders to strict cut off times Releasing of orders to couriers Undertake cycle counts and stock takes as required. Maintain the safe handling, storage, and identification of goods in accordance with relevant procedures. Follow standard work instructions and maintain company procedures and follow all HS&E regulations. Any other Stores duties as requested by the Supervisor/Line Manager.
