Blue Arrow is currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative with a valid Flexi, Bendi or Pivot Steer Forklift Truck licence to join a busy warehouse operation in the Reading, Berkshire area.

This is a hands–on role within a fast–paced environment, offering long–term stability and the opportunity to become part of an established team.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll be responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

Operating a Flexi/Bendi/Pivot Steer forklift truckOrder picking using both MHE and manual methodsLoading and unloading vehiclesGoods–in processing and stock checksStock replenishment and inventory controlContainer unloading when requiredProducing labels and processing warehouse paperwork using internal systemsMaintaining excellent housekeeping standards throughout the warehouseSupporting colleagues across all warehouse functions as required

About You

To be considered for this role, you'll have:

Previous warehouse experienceA valid Flexi, Bendi, Pivot Steer or Aisle Master forklift licenceAt least 1 year's experience operating a Flexi/Bendi truckStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood IT and data entry skillsA flexible and positive attitude to workThe ability to work effectively as part of a teamWillingness to work overtime when required
