Location: Burnley BB12 6JJ

Shifts: 4 on / 2 off Alternative shifts can be discussed at interview

Hours: 12–hour shifts, Various start/finish times discussed at interview

Contract: Permanent Weekly Pay Full Training Provided

Pay:

Up to GBP19.00ph dependant on shift and experience Class 1 heavyUp to GBP16.00ph dependant on shift and experience Class 2Up to GBP15.00ph dependant on shift and experience 7.5ton Additions: Call–out & Overtime

Due to continued growth and new contract wins, we are expanding our team and recruiting additional,

7.5T and Class 2 Recovery Drivers and Heavy Recovery Drivers.

This is a varied, fast–paced role where no two days are the same. We are looking for motivated, adaptable individuals who thrive under pressure, work confidently alone, and deliver a professional and efficient service to our customers.

While much of the role is carried out independently, every interaction with a member is an opportunity to provide reassurance and support. Remaining calm under pressure, you'll use empathy, resilience, and technical expertise to help people through challenging situations. Whether you're recovering a vehicle safely, transporting it to a garage, or helping a member continue their journey, you'll play a vital role in turning a stressful experience into a positive one.

What You'll Do

Attend breakdowns and accident scenes across our operational areaSafely recover and transport vehicles from motorways and major routesComplete vehicle checks and maintain a tidy vehicle/yardEnsure all jobs are completed using company PDA systemsAssist with moving vehicles within the depot as required What We Offer

Full UK Driving LicenceDCPC & Digital Tachograph CardProven driving experience (recovery experience desirable but not essential)Strong communication skills & customer–focused approachAbility to work under pressure & independentlyClean record & ability to pass Police vettingGood local geographical knowledgeBasic mechanical understanding preferredFlexible approach to working hours Additional Information
