Van DriverBasingstokeFrom GBP13.62 per hourImmediate start - Temp to PermPertemps are recruiting for Van Drivers to start work on behalf of a world-leading distribution company in Basingstoke. This is a temporary to permanent contract you will temp for 12 weeks then be offered a permanent contact performance dependant. More about the role:- GBP13.62 per hour standard rate.- 5 shifts a week-GBP27.24 if you work an optional 6th day - GBP20.43 for overtime (anything over 48 hours)- Flexible shift days and times options available- Earliest start time of 06:00am You will be responsible for delivering goods to customers premises with the assistance of a driver's mate.Duties of a Van Driver:- Delivering a variety of products to customers' addresses, which have already been pre-loaded to vehicle- Building good relationships with customers upon delivery- Ensuring safety of vehicle with the assistance of your drivers' mate-Ensuring you stick to the pre-planned routes given to you when you start shift-Ensuring drivers mate has correct ETA information to call customers ahead of arrival-Maximum package weight 30kg- When not required to drive a van, you will be utilised as a drivers' mateRequirements for this Van Driver Role:- Full UK relevant driving licence (No more than 6 points)Why Pertemps?We're a trusted recruitment partner, connecting talented people with opportunities that match their ambitions/lifestyle.
