Transport Planner – London 35,000– 45,000

I'm currently representing a leading transport consultancy in their search for a Transport Planner to join their London team.

This is an opportunity to join an established and highly respected transport planning team, delivering solutions across a varied portfolio of development and infrastructure projects.

The Opportunity

As a Transport Planner, you'll play an important role in delivering projects, preparing technical assessments and supporting the development of transport planning solutions.

You'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of sectors, contributing to projects that support new developments and infrastructure schemes across the UK.

Responsibilities will include:

Preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans

Supporting the delivery of transport planning projects from inception through to completion

Undertaking traffic generation, trip distribution and junction capacity assessments

Producing technical reports and supporting planning applications

Providing transport planning advice to clients and project teams

Liaising with local authorities, developers and other stakeholders

Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams

About You

You'll ideally have:

Experience within a transport planning consultancy

Experience preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements or Travel Plans

Good knowledge of transport planning and the UK planning process

Exposure to junction modelling software such as Junctions 9/10, ARCADY, PICADY or LinSig

Familiarity with TRICS and TEMPro

Strong report–writing, analytical and communication skills

A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
