Description
Job Title: Transport Planner
Location: Oxford
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a fast–growing and award–winning Civil Engineering and Transport Planning consultancy in their search for a Transport Planner.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team, working across a diverse portfolio of development projects.
The Role
You will take a hands–on role in delivering transport planning projects, including:
Managing small to medium–sized projects, including budgets and timelinesPreparing Transport Assessments, Statements, Travel Plans, and Technical NotesAnalysing trip generation, distribution, and transport impactsReviewing access designs, visibility splays, and vehicle trackingAttending client, project team, and local authority meetingsUndertaking site visits and supporting early–stage scheme developmentContributing to fee proposals and business development
About You
Degree qualified (or equivalent)Minimum 2 years' experience in transport planningWorking knowledge of design guidance and planning policyStrong communication and report writing skillsAbility to manage workload independently and within a teamExperience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, TRICS, and modelling softwareWorking towards (or interested in) professional accreditation
