Systems Controller

Description

Job Title: Systems ControllerReports to: Commercial DirectorLocation: Office

Main ResponsibilitiesSystems Management Manage Business Central and Shopify integration's to ensure accurate order processing from placement to shipment.

Maintain knowledge of APIs and oversee system connections between platforms.

Lead systems-related projects and coordinate with external developers or partners to meet business requirements.

Configure and maintain new Shopify stores to meet operational needs.

Prepare documentation, perform testing, and ensure all systems meet functional and financial expectations.

Align e-commerce operations with finance processes for accurate data flow.

Identify and implement process improvements within Business Central.

Create and maintain user training materials and provide ongoing team support.

Stock Control & Warehouse Ensure products, purchase orders, and sales orders are correctly created and maintained.

Troubleshoot issues and resolve exceptions beyond standard procedures.

Monitor and maintain warehouse handheld scanning devices.

Work with the Warehouse Manager to improve operational workflows using system capabilities.

Provide stock and sales reports to support decision-making and forecasting.

Operations Support Collaborate with Warehouse and Customer Service teams to resolve technical or operational system issues.

Manage complimentary stock requests, including quotations, collections, and delivery coordination.

Participate in regular operational and stock planning meetings to support efficiency and planning accuracy.

Reporting & Process Development Produce sales and analytical reports to guide purchasing and pre-order decisions.

Review and optimise workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.

Support management with daily, weekly, and monthly data and performance reports.

Skills & Experience Proven experience managing ERP and e-commerce systems (e.g., Business Central, Shopify).

Strong understanding of APIs, system integration's, and data flows.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.

Confident managing third-party developers and internal stakeholders.

Skilled in reporting, documentation, and user training.

Detail-oriented, organised, and proactive in improving processes.
