We are currently recruiting for an experienced Stores Operative to join a busy and growing warehouse operation in Ely.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong stock control and warehouse experience who is looking for a long–term position with the potential to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities

Tracking, managing, and maintaining accurate stock recordsCarrying out quality control checks and inspecting goods for damage or shortagesLoading and unloading deliveries, both manually and using a forklift where requiredInvestigating stock discrepancies and reporting faults or issues promptlySupporting stock audits and inventory checksEnsuring warehouse stock accuracy and maintaining high operational standards Requirements

Counterbalance Forklift experience preferred but not essential providing on experience (valid or recently expired licence accepted)Alternatively, extensive warehouse and stock control experienceGood literacy and numeracy skillsStrong attention to detail with the ability to process information accuratelyReliable, organised, and able to work effectively within a team environment This is a long–term, stable career opportunity with a growing company that values its employees and offers genuine prospects for permanent employment.
