Stock Controller Full–Time, Day Shifts Mon Thurs: 8am 5pm Friday: 8am 12:30pm Up to GBP29,700 + Excellent Benefits

Are you an organised, analytical and detail–driven stock professional? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well–established manufacturing operation in a vital Stock Control role ensuring accuracy, efficiency and smooth flow across all materials and finished goods.

You ll work closely with warehouse, production, technical and finance teams, taking ownership of stock integrity, system accuracy and process improvements across the site.

Key Responsibilities of the Stock Controller:

Stock Control & Systems

Processing works orders: issuing stock, booking finished goods, maintaining FIFO & batch rotationCompleting weekly/monthly cycle counts & providing performance metricsManaging MRB/Quarantine inventory and maintaining 100% system accuracyInvestigating slow–moving, damaged or non–conforming stockSupporting the rollout and development of the Warehouse Management System (WMS)Conducting audit counts & investigations with the Warehouse Manager Stock Adjustments & Reconciliation

Actioning stock adjustments for all materials: raw materials, propellants, chemicals & componentsUpdating sales orders to reflect actual finished goods producedMonthly PI checks and ERP updatesPropellant & bulk chemical reconciliationsProducing monthly usage reports for finance Customer & Internal Liaison

Handling client stock check requests and queries promptlyWorking with operations, finance, purchasing, warehouse & productionManaging reject/out–of–date stock in SAGECompleting free–issue stock checks Sales Invoicing Support

Raising despatch notes and commercial invoicesChecking pricing/supplements and issuing sales invoicesEmailing invoices to customers as required General Duties

Supporting conversions on SAGE and creating reportsReception cover & telephone handlingAssisting with vehicle despatch and paperwork Skills & Experience

Experienced in stock control within manufacturing, warehousing or productionConfident working with ERP systems (SAGE experience beneficial)Accurate, methodical and detail–orientedStrong at communication and cross–team collaborationProactive, reliable and committed to maintaining high standards If you take pride in getting stock right every time we want to hear from you.
