Shunter Driver

Description

Apply today to work as a Shunter Driver for our clients leading UK manufacturers of crisps and snacks.

Staffline is recruiting for a Shunter Driver to work in Skelmersdale.

The rate of pay is GBP16.02 per hour.

You will work 2 weeks on Days and 2 weeks on Nights:

– 6am to 6pm

– 6pm to 6am

You will work 3 days in week 1 and 4 days in week 2.

Your Time at Work

As a Shunter Driver your duties include:

– Backing trailers onto bays

– Parking trailers in the yard area once the trailer is full

– Check the cab to make sure it is safe to use

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect Shunter Driver will need to be agile as you will be required to climb in and out of the shunter cab.

A full driving license, no points and suitable vision is required.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
