We are recruiting for a Senior Depot Manager role in the Portsmouth area.
Our client in the construction hire sector is seeking an experienced Depot Manager to take full responsibility for a fast paced depot.

Job Title: Senior Depot Manager
Location: Portsmouth area
Salary: GBP55–65K basic (OTE GBP70K) + car + excellent benefits
Main Duties:
Managing the day–to–day operations of the depotRecruiting and mentoring staffManaging a customer base and developing plans to increase businessMaximising growth and profitabilityEnsuring that high levels of service are maintainedHolding team meetingsLiaising with key customers to make sure they re satisfied with the depot s performanceManaging stock levelsMonitoring health and safety in the depotFull P&L responsibility Requirements:
Experience of managing a large team in a fast paced operational environmentExperience of management in a busy sales led, growing company Able to recruit across multiple rolesExceptional people management skills – able to mentor, develop and train a team to a high levelAbility to demonstrate business acumenPrevious experience of a senior management role within the construction hire sector
