Description

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Solutions Manager for a local authority client in West London.

In this role, you will lead a frontline team to deliver person-centred housing solutions that prevent homelessness, reduce temporary accommodation use, and ensure the Council meets its statutory housing duties.

Duties:

Lead and manage a frontline team delivering homelessness prevention and housing solutions in line with statutory duties.

Oversee housing assessments and casework under Parts VI and VII of the Housing Act and the Homelessness Reduction Act.

Develop and implement innovative strategies to reduce temporary accommodation use and improve housing outcomes.

Build strong partnerships with landlords, support services, and internal teams to deliver sustainable housing options.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

Proven experience in housing needs or homelessness services, including casework and assessments under relevant housing legislation

Strong team leadership and staff management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop performance.

Experience working with vulnerable individuals, including those with complex needs such as mental health or substance misuse.

Confident in building partnerships with internal services, external agencies, and housing providers to deliver effective outcomes.

What's on offer:

Salary: £30ph+

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
