Driver Hire Southampton are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our clients which specialises in general haulage deliveries.
Information about this Class 1 position:
AD HOC work (between Monday to Friday)Delivering palletised goods on a Class 1 curtain siderTrailer swaps, trunk runsDay and night shifts 10–12 hour daysPallets are loaded and unloaded for you with FLTCommunicating with Transport Office, following provided routes, completing all relevant paperwork correctlyRequirements from you as a Class 1 Driver:
Full UK Class 1 licence with valid CPC and Digi cardMinimum of 1 year experience driving a Class 1 vehicleGreat communication skillsExperience with curtain side trailers/ general haulage deliveries/ strappingOwn transport to commute to and from workFantastic time keeping and communications skillsComplete daily vehicle checksComply with the companies health and safety proceduresRecord Tacho hours correctlyBenefits of a Class 1 Driver working for Driver Hire Southampton:
