Location: Ely (CB6) Type: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract Hours: Monday to Thursday 2:35pm to 11:05pm and Fridays 1:05pm to 8:05pm Salary: Competitive Job Reference: 36303 We are recruiting for a Quality Inspection and Packing Operative to join a busy manufacturing and production environment in Ely. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is hands–on, quality–focused and mechanically minded, with a keen eye for detail. Working as part of the production team, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing and packing products ready for shipment, while supporting the wider manufacturing operation and continuous improvement activities. Responsibilities – Check finished products to ensure they meet quality standards – Prepare and package goods accurately for dispatch – Pick and organise components for production – Follow job instructions, drawings and established procedures – Complete production records and paperwork accurately – Work with colleagues to meet daily production targets – Assist with troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities – Support other areas of production when required Requirements – Previous experience in manufacturing, production or assembly – Good attention to detail and a strong quality mindset – Practical and mechanically minded approach – Able to follow instructions and work accurately – Good team player with a positive attitude – Reliable, organised and willing to learn – Basic technical drawing knowledge would be an advantage Please contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below!
