Location: Essex

Salary: 55,000 – 65,000

Pure Resourcing Solutions is working with a growing engineering and manufacturing business to recruit a Production & Supply Chain Planner. This is a pivotal role responsible for coordinating production schedules, material availability, supplier performance, and inventory planning to ensure products are delivered on time and in line with customer requirements.

Working across multiple departments, you will play a key role in balancing customer demand, production capacity, and supply chain performance within a fast–paced manufacturing environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain production schedules to support customer demand and business objectives.Plan material requirements and ensure the timely availability of components and services.Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and supply chain risks.Review inventory levels and manage stock availability to support production requirements.Coordinate activities across production, purchasing, stores, engineering, and operations teams.Track key performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy and operational efficiency.Support continuous improvement initiatives across production and supply chain functions.About YouExperience in production planning, supply chain planning, or manufacturing planning within an engineering or manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems, inventory management, and capacity planning.Experience managing suppliers and material availability.Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and manage priorities effectively.Advanced Excel skills and excellent stakeholder management capabilities.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well–established business where you can have a direct impact on production performance and supply chain effectiveness.
