Multi–Skilled Operative – Kent, Dartford

Salary: 12.50 per hour

Hours: Minimum 48 hours per week, Monday–Friday

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join one of our well–renowned Security Clients in Kent. We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Multi–Skilled Operative to work across customer sites, delivering a range of security and property maintenance services to a high professional standard.

The Role

As a Multi–Skilled Operative, you will carry out a wide variety of tasks on customer sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the standard our clients expect.

Installation & Maintenance

Installing steel security solutions to vacant propertiesErecting and dismantling hoarding, fencing, and barriersInstalling temporary intruder alarm and CCTV systemsProperty Clearance & Cleaning

Clearing and cleaning vacant or damaged properties to agreed specificationsSafely removing and disposing of waste, including biohazardous materials, in line with H&S proceduresGarden clearance, including vegetation removal and cutbacksSite Operations & Safety

Following risk assessments and method statementsMaintaining excellent housekeeping standards on siteInspecting and reporting defects in vehicles, tools, and equipmentWearing the correct PPE and promoting safe working practicesCustomer Service & Teamwork

Liaising professionally with clients on–siteSupporting colleagues and attending team briefingsPromoting customer satisfaction at every stageThis is a physically demanding role involving regular lifting and carrying of equipment. Overtime and occasional overnight stays may be required (accommodation and food budget provided).

What We're Looking For

A motivated, safety–focused individual who takes pride in delivering high–quality work.

Essential

Clean UK driving licence (minimum 5 years' experience)Competent in the use of hand and power toolsKnowledge of Health & Safety regulations and safe working practicesStrong background in vacant property services, including clearance and cleaningAbility to use computers and handheld devicesDesirable

Experience handling or disposing of biohazardous materials (or willingness to train)CSCS Card / CITB HS&E TestAbrasive Wheel, MEWPs, or First Aid certificationStrong problem–solving skills and ability to adapt on–siteEasy to Apply
