Material Planner Coordinator – Bolton 28,000 per annum – Permanent

Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 5:00pm

We are looking for a detail–oriented Material Planner to join a busy Contracts team in Bolton. This role is responsible for managing customer forecasts, inventory levels, supplier coordination, and contract requirements to ensure stock availability and service levels are consistently maintained.

Excel is a MUST for this role. You will be using Excel daily to analyse forecasts, monitor stock levels, produce reports, and support key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities Process and analyse customer forecasts. Manage inventory and maintain stock levels in line with demand. Liaise with purchasing teams regarding material requirements. Progress orders and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders. Monitor deliveries and communicate any potential delays. Respond to customer enquiries and maintain accurate records. Produce KPI reports and support month–end reporting. Maintain part, pricing, and inventory databases. Work collaboratively with colleagues to resolve supply chain and planning issues. Skills & Experience Required Strong Excel skills, including reporting, Pivot Tables, lookups, and data analysis. Experience in materials planning, inventory control, supply chain, procurement, or a similar role. Strong analytical and problem–solving skills. Excellent organisational and communication abilities. ERP/MRP system experience is advantageous. What's on Offer? Salary of 28,000 per annum, with potential flexibility depending on experience.
