Manufacturing Technician
Location: Loughborough
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm (37.5 hours per week, 30–minute unpaid break)
Pay Rate: 12.65 per hour
Contract: Until 31 December 2025 – Potential to extend.
Start Date: ASAP
Overview:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our client in Loughborough. The role involves inspecting, assembling, and packaging laboratory consumables in line with defined specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate packaging and labelling equipmentPrint labels using approved softwareComplete all required production and quality documentationSupport quality control checks and in–process inspectionsPerform calibration and maintenance on labelling equipmentInput batch records and downtime dataCross–train and assist other departments as neededRequirements:
Minimum 1 year's experience in manufacturing, production, or a lab environmentGood communication and IT skills (Microsoft Office)Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsTeam player with the ability to prioritise tasks
