We are looking for Machine Operators to work for our Client based in Hamilton & Rothley, Leicester. They are a multinational company with sites in Leicester and Rothley and are passionate about the future of our planet. The role of the Machine Operator is a temp to perm role. Pay for the Machine Operator temp to perm

GBP12.37 per hour with a shift allowance once training is completed of GBP14.49 per hour

Hours / Shifts:

4 on 4 off consisting of 2 days and 2 nights then 4 days off6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6amWhile you are being trained you will be on days 9am to 5.30pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain the continuous running of the Packaging Machines Facilitate product changeovers including the loading of polyethylene reels Responsible for the effective running of the log saw as and when required Interact with the Machine to solve minor issues/breakdowns leading to the enhanced productivity of the machines Carry out quality checks on productions when required and report any faults to the respective person Carry out small maintenance activities and adjustmentsSupport the colleagues in case of need and overview the end–line process when requiredBe accountable for high levels of housekeeping in the working area throughout the shiftEnsure health & safety rules are adhered to

Additional Requirements:

Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is highly desirableExperience working as part of a teamExcellent communication skills
