Aureos are seeking a Cable Jointer to join our growing team.

As a Cable Jointer, you'll be at the heart of our electrical network, supporting both planned and emergency works on HV and LV systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:Carrying out jointing and cabling work on HV and LV networksResponding to emergency faults and participating in an out–of–hours standby rotaEnsuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with industry regulationsInspecting and maintaining cable systems to ensure performance and complianceCollaborating with Project Managers, Engineers, and clients to deliver a seamless serviceMaintaining accurate records and adhering to SHEQ policiesRepresenting Aureos with a focus on safety, service, and professionalismSkills, experience and qualifications:DNO industry experience(UK) with recognised jointing authorisation in LV/HV (11kV or 33kV)NVQ Level 3in Electrical Installation or Power Networks CraftspersonA strong understanding of electrical systems and jointing techniquesFlexibility to work out of hours and be included on a standby rotaA full UK driving licenceExperience working as an electricianUse of testing equipment and diagnostic toolsExcellent communication skills and a collaborative approachFamiliarity with various cable types and safety proceduresCity & Guilds 2339–17 or 2304 (or equivalent)Emergency First Aid at WorkUKTA Asbestos AwarenessSSSTS (or equivalent)Confined Space TrainingPASMA / IPAFIn return you will receive:Generous Salary25 days Holiday plus Bank HolidayPensionLearning & Development opportunitiesAssistance and wellbeing supportCycle to work schemeEmployee benefits portalOn–site parkingReferral Scheme
