HGV Technician Avonmouth Are you an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, HGV Fitter or Commercial Vehicle Technician looking for a GBP22 per hour HGV Technician role in Avonmouth?

We are recruiting an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy commercial vehicle workshop in Avonmouth, Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter looking for a permanent position with an excellent 4 on 4 off shift pattern, helping provide a great work–life balance.

You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a range of HGVs, trucks, LGVs and trailers, ensuring vehicles remain safe, compliant and on the road.

The Role HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic Your responsibilities will include:

Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs, trucks and trailersDiagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faultsCarrying out inspections and preventative maintenanceFault finding and defect repairsPreparing vehicles for MOT testingCompleting repairs to manufacturer and DVSA standardsUsing modern diagnostic equipmentCompleting job cards and workshop documentationWorking efficiently to maximise vehicle uptimeMaintaining a clean, safe and professional workshopWorking as part of a skilled commercial vehicle technician team Requirements We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter with:

Previous experience working on HGVs or commercial vehiclesLevel 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalentStrong mechanical and diagnostic skillsGood electrical fault–finding abilityA professional and reliable approach to workFull UK driving licenceAbility to work a 4 on 4 off day shift Desirable:

HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licenceIRTEC accreditationMain dealership or fleet workshop experienceManufacturer training What's On Offer?
