An established and market–leading commercial vehicle business is looking to recruit an experienced HGV Technician to join its professional workshop team in Kettering.

The workshop operates with a flexible shift structure, with technicians working Monday to Friday and finishing times ranging between 6:00pm and 8:00pm, depending on the shift pattern.

The Role

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for:

Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs and commercial vehicles.

Carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance.

Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults.

Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Following manufacturer specifications and workshop procedures.

Supporting the wider workshop team to keep vehicles safe, compliant and road–ready.

Maintaining a clean and organized working environment.

About You

We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician with:

Level 3 qualification or equivalent in HGV / Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.

Previous experience working as an HGV, PSV or LCV Technician.

Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.

A full UK Driving Licence is preferred.

A reliable, punctual and professional approach.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A strong commitment to quality workmanship and customer service.

What's on Offer?

GBP22.00 per hour.

OTE of GBP50,000+ per annum.

Monday to Friday working.

Flexible shift patterns.

Finish times between 6:00pm and 8:00pm.
