Job Title: HGV Technician
Location: Enfield
Salary: 56,770k
Shift: Monday to Friday (7am to 530pm)
Overtime: Paid at an enhanced rate
An exciting opportunity has become available working for a very well–established fleet maintenance company. Specialist training will be provided where needed to develop your existing skills to support their specialist assets.
Key Responsibilities of the HGV Technician:As an HGV Mechanic you will undertake routine inspection & repair of internal & external customers vehicles within the workshopUndertake commercial vehicle MOT inspections, repair, and final preparation for MOT testAttend breakdowns, diagnose, and complete necessary repairs to a high standardComplete all compliance paperwork associated with the repair and maintenance of the rental fleetRequirements for this HGV Technician role:Experience from within an HGV Technician/ HGV Mechanic/ HGV Engineer roleMunicipal experience including working on Refuse trucks/ RCVs is a plusRepairs and wheel alignmentHGV Technical qualification – NVQ or City and Guilds equivalent.Experience of working in a similar role with an understanding of the HGV industryGreat team player whilst also able to work on own initiativeAwareness and understanding of Health and Safety practicesBenefits for working for my client:33 Days annual leave (inclusive of statuary)Enhanced parental leave and payCompany Sick PayEmployee Assistance ProgramWellbeing programme, including online health advice & GPRetail discountsDedicated training and development to support your career with our businessRecommend a friend bonus (Up to 2,000!)Death in Service (available from day one of employment)Free onsite parkingFree uniformHow to Apply
