What You Will Be Doing

As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter you will be responsible for:

Carrying out major and minor repairs on HGVs to DVSA and manufacturer standardsCompleting inspections and planned maintenance as an experienced HGV MechanicDiagnosing faults accurately to DVSA standardsMaintaining accurate service and repair recordsSupporting occasional roadside repairs when requiredKeeping the workshop area clean and safe at all timesAssisting with the development of apprentices Pay and Benefits

To be considered as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, HGV Fitter or Commercial Vehicle Technician you will need:

Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter within a commercial vehicle environmentLevel 3 HGV qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / IMI or equivalent)Strong diagnostic and fault finding abilitySound knowledge of DVSA compliance standardsFull UK driving licence How to Apply
