HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter (Kidderminster)

Location: Kidderminster

Salary: GBP37,(Apply online only) basic, OTE GBP40,(Apply online only) with overtime at time and a half

Hours: 40 hours per week, various shifts available

Job Type: Full–time, permanent

The Role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter As part of A workshop team, you will carry out inspections, repairs, diagnostics and servicing on heavy goods vehicles, ensuring road safety, reliability and compliance. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HGV professional looking to develop their skills with manufacturer training and a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake servicing, MOT preparation and repairs on HGVsDiagnose faults on electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systemsCarry out preventative maintenance and compliance inspectionsMaintain accurate records and complete service documentationWork as part of a team of HGV Technicians / HGV Mechanics / HGV Fitters supporting apprentices where requiredFollow health & safety and workshop best practice at all times Skills and Qualifications

Essential

Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI)Experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter in a workshop environmentAbility to diagnose and repair faults to DVSA standardsFull UK driving licence Desirable
